Inside Sales Account Representative

You’ll have the exciting opportunity to talk with customers to assist with their hazmat shipping needs and grow accounts within your dedicated customer base. We will provide you with extensive paid training. Position offers a base salary plus commission. Commission is paid monthly on percentage to goal. Role is at our corporate headquarter Chicago office.
Sell to / communicate with assigned customers
Pre-plan call strategy
Structure call blocks to maximize sell time and ensure sales process is on track
Meet or exceed call metrics
Source new sales opportunities via outbound calls
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, customer news and government regulations tied to product lines
Execute sales strategies in order to meet or exceed sales targets
An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales accomplishments and exceeding goals.
College Degree or equivalent experience
2 – 5 years sales experience, preferably as an inside sales/account representative
Proficiency in PC usage, recent versions of Windows a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to navigate various sales platforms such as Salesforce and internal systems
