Job Description Summary

We are looking for the leader of the newly formed business of CardioVascular & Interventional Solutions (CVIS) in GE HealthCare’s Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) segment. We are bringing together 3 cardiology & vascular focused sub-businesses (Invasive Cardiology ICAR, Interventional Guided Solutions IGS and Cardiovascular Ultrasound CVUS) that are highly profitable and currently deliver 1.8B$ annual revenue with locations in multiple countries across the globe under the roof of the CVIS GM.

The new leader will be tasked to create the vision for the business, develop the strategy and integrate the 3 businesses, with a strong focus on revenue growth and innovation. Being able to engage with subject matter experts in the highly specialized cardiac care or Oncology continuum will be critical, as will be the leader’s ability to drive organizational change.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop the vision and strategy of the CVIS business to deliver precision care with a focus on cardiology suites, interventional radiology, vascular and CathLab providers through guidance and therapy support.

  • Provide strategy to the organization, directly & indirectly leading a global organization of >1,000 colleagues across multiple functions, including Product Management, Product Innovation, R&D, Sales & Marketing & supporting functions.

  • Align multiple common call points and clinical specialty touchpoints amongst the teams to lead Go-to-Market strategy for a direct and an indirect Sales & Service organization. Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive highest impact.

  • Ensure organization culture is representing GEHC’s operating principles and Lean, Quality, and provide coaching and interventions with the leadership team.

  • Accelerate innovation of the product portfolio to meet the changing needs of the market, including combining different technologies (X-Ray, Ultrasound, visualization, digital solutions). The role will be responsible for strategy and execution of the product roadmaps and New Product Introductions (NPI).

  • Engage in screening the market for inorganic growth opportunities and driving value for the business.

  • Drive business growth , manage key business financial performance indicators and drive the integration of the 3 teams into a cohesive new business unit.

  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements, as well as health and safety regulation & policies.

  • Attract and retain key talent and creating an environment to foster employee engagement, diversity, professional development, and high levels of employee satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline, or 15+ years of progressive engineering, business or commercial experience.

  • Specific healthcare industry experience, leading organizations, ideally with focus on cardiac care

  • Minimum of 8 years of global leadership experience & strong management skills.

  • Demonstrated strategic planning and operational execution as well as organization design and change management experience with a fast growing business

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team. Ability to engage with and deliver GEHC value proposition to senior level contacts with KOLs, accounts and/or prospect organizations.

  • Can understand and direct teams to create marketing plans, new product development, current portfolio evolution and lifecycle management strategies.

  • Strong demonstrated communication skills, articulating complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills as evidenced by ability to build support, loyalty, and commitment across diverse and global teams.
