General Manager - US Expansion

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for technology and a proven track record in driving sales growth? We’re seeking an exceptional General Manager to spearhead our expansion and operations in the U.S. market. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our business and lead a high-performing team in a key international market.

What you will do:

Company Establishment & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to launch and grow our U.S. operations.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a top-tier team, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and performance management.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.

  • Design and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Market Development:

  • Identify and leverage market opportunities to drive business growth.

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.

Technical Expertise & Support:

  • Provide high-level technical support to enhance the sales process and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with our R&D team to tailor products for the U.S. market.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with company standards.

  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control, to ensure operational efficiency.

Market Insights & Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive research to support strategic decisions.

  • Deliver insightful reports and updates to senior management.

What you will need:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced qualification is a plus but not required.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior role with a focus on technical sales and business management.

  • Proven success in building and leading business units, preferably within the U.S. market.

Technical Acumen:

  • Strong technical knowledge in engineering and industrial solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management.

Leadership & Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in German is a plus.
