Job Title: Field Service Technician

Pay Rate : $30-38/Hour

Location : La Grange, IL

Shift : Day Shift

An equipment installation company located in Bridgeview, IL, is seeking a field service technician to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired. All travel expenses and are covered by the company.

Previous experience in maintenance or electronic technician work is required for this opportunity.

Description:

• Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of sensor devices at customers. This includes installing sensors above facilities dock doors, rack systems, forklifts and material handling equipment

• Electrical installs, working with customer's control panels, wiring battery packs into power sources

• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs, internal service, and expense reports in a timely manner through the use of computers and tablets

• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up of hardware-related service requests.

• Provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting sensor devices prior to installation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. (working with customers).

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
