In this role, you will be responsible for the daily onsite support of our customers.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Conducts service, repair and/or installation of equipment at customer site, including laser optics, electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.

  • Conduct operator training

  • Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution.

  • Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system.

  • Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory.

  • Preventative maintenance

  • Field upgrades and machine software upgrades

  • Traveling up to 90% (local travel: 50% overnight travel: 50%)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:

  • Customer-oriented skills and with good ability to clearly communicate progress

  • Excellent record keeping (service reports and spare parts) and follow up

  • A hands-on, proactive approach and can work independently

  • Ability to work under stress of deadlines and down equipment

  • Flexibility to travel with overnight stays.
