Facilities Manager

Job Description

Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures. Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements. Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments. Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors. Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol. Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members. Run routine maintenance inspections. Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation. Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes. Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures. Support maintenance and installment work as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Facilities Management.

• Experience in facility management, facilities maintenance, and vendor management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Strong leadership skills to lead maintenance teams and meetings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
