Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Specialization in Power Distribution and Power Systems
- SKM
- Strong experience in Arch Flash studies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Capability to provide guidance for on-site and remote troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with corporate and plant personnel, Project Managers, and various disciplines.
- Develop and modify electrical designs.
- Conduct plant walkdowns to gather essential data for arc flash studies.
- Update arc flash study files using SKM Power Tools software.
- Perform calculations, create/modify drawings, and write scopes of work.
- Coordinate with external contractors/vendors and make site visits as needed.
- Write equipment specifications and develop preliminary designs.
- Prepare Material Takeoffs (MTOs) and man-hour estimates.
- Provide on-site and remote guidance for troubleshooting power systems across 50 North American industrial manufacturing facilities.
