We Are Hiring

Schedule: Monday - Friday our hours are 7-4, with two shifts one that is 7 - 3:30, and the other is 7:30 - 4. These alternate depending on call and the needs of the unit. Every staff member works both shifts depending on our schedule.

*Experienced Echocardiography Technologists (must have 1+ year of echo experience)

  • $3,750 paid out at 3 months

  • $3,750 paid out at 6 months

*New Grads

  • $1,500 paid out at 3 months

  • $1,500 paid out at 6 months

Incentive applies to all PT and FT requisitions (0.5 FTE or greater) and internal and external applicants

Internal applicants must move from a 0.0 FTE to 0.5 FTE or greater and must commit to the status for a minimum of one year or a payback clause would be initiated at a prorated rate.

Connolly Center for Cancer and Specialty Care and the Diamond Headache Clinic.

What You Will Do

Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.

  • Set up and adjust all imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.

  • Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.

  • Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.

  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.

  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history).

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in department.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  • One or more of the following:

  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. For new graduates ARDMS desired and required after 2 years of employment. For experienced echo sonographer, ARDMS required.

  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Sonography Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional Preferences

Must have peds and fetal echo experience or be open to train and learn
