Team Background

The Global Marketing Design Studio is an elite and diverse creative team at Publicis Groupe, comprising of over 25 creatives in 5 major cities across the Globe: London, New York, Chicago, Seattle, and Singapore. We are responsible for assisting in key revenue opportunities, enhancing Groupe’s visual identity, and influencing creative environments by delivering best-in-class design solutions throughout the organization. We are a passionate-fun bunch of creatives who embrace our key to success, collaboration.

Description

Our team is looking for a full-time Design Manager who will support Publicis Groupe’s Global Marketing practice in influencing various creative environments, such as products and brand visual identities. This role will also be instrumental in assisting key revenue opportunities by designing world-class visual presentations, microsites, and more.

We’re looking for a passionate hybrid creative with a sharp-strategic mindset; able to translate a wide range of complex briefs into creative that intrigues and inspires both peers and clients. Someone who values speed and quality, never sacrificing one for the other.

Responsibilities

  • Design and creation of incredible PowerPoint templates for pitch presentations; rich in detail, animation, and other high-level design elements

  • Partner with marketing, new business and communications teams to develop design concepts for global, regional and local pitches and programs

  • Concept and create print and digital collateral for global, regional and local pitches and programs

  • Concept and creation of strategic experiential elements for global, regional and local pitches and programs

  • Assist in building and implementing new approaches to design work

  • Act as a champion of brand standards and guidelines

  • Maintain Publicis’ graphic aesthetic and quality

  • Manage & execute multiple projects at once, efficiently meeting deadlines

  • Follow creative direction, work in a group dynamic, and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience (agency experience is preferred)

  • 4-year degree (fine or graphic arts degree a plus)

  • Portfolio that shows off excellent presentation work and layout design

  • Expert skills in PowerPoint

  • Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Strong conceptual ability, along with expert design and layout skill

  • Able to easily liaise with people outside the design team & create work based on a verbal or written brief

  • Self-starter and well-organized

  • Positive Attitude; receptive to creative direction and design feedback

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Open to travel as needed

  • Branding and logo design experience

  • Proficiency with video editing and/or animation is a plus

  • A passion for creativity - any additional creative outlet, hobby or passion is a plus.
