Position Summary

Huron’s Corporate Development team focuses on identifying, evaluating, engaging and integrating acquisitions and third-party strategic alliance candidates to support the Company’s growth strategy. Among others, recent completed transactions include the acquisition of GG+A (philanthropy advisory), Roundtable Analytics (healthcare predictive analytics), Customer Evolution (customer relationship management software advisory), AIMDATA (data management), and Perception Health (healthcare data and predictive analytics).

The Corporate Development Associate will report to the Corporate Vice President of Corporate Development and collaborate with Huron’s senior leadership team to execute the Company’s corporate development initiatives. The Corporate Development Associate will be responsible for supporting the identification of industry trends. They will support the evaluation and execution of new acquisitions, spin-offs, third-party alliances and joint ventures across Huron’s industries and capabilities. This position offers opportunities to work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders to influence Huron’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong knowledge of our competitive ecosystem and deliver insightful analyses of market opportunities to inform our M&A and alliance strategy

• Conduct market analysis and company-specific research

• Work with the Corporate Development team on the evaluation of potential opportunities, including the analysis of markets, business plans, and financials

• Support the identification of potential acquisition and partnership candidates

• Provide day-to-day support for transactions, including with respect to analysis, due diligence and integration

• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to execute due diligence, onboarding and integration of acquisition and third-party alliance candidates, including interfacing with legal, finance, accounting, HR and other departments to ensure seamless deal execution

• Support post-integration teams to identify and realize deal synergies

• Effectively build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues from across the organization and other external stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy or management consulting

• Demonstrated project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects of competing priority and display the ability to reallocate resources when needed

• Superior problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual rigor and analytical capabilities and experience

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and organize, plan, coordinate and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

• Collaborative work style with ability to effectively interact with and earn trust of peers and senior management across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The estimated base salary range for this job is $70,000 - $100,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $80,500 - $115,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
