Consultant Business Systems, HSBC Technology & Services (USA) Inc., Chicago, IL:

Work with architectural and tactical recommendations for the cloud infrastructure, build and deploy pipelines, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for a variety of development teams and help them to operationalize those recommendations. Drive Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) adoption and utilize same to create a frictionless development process by modernizing the CI/CD orchestration using industry leading technologies and maintain a robust development and deployment infrastructure. Implement and operate containerized cloud application platform solutions, with a focus on application concerns, distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, development of workflows, and integrating container platform with automated CI/CD pipelines. Develop, implement, and automate scalable custom models by using CI/CD pipelines for the image creations, segmentation to data sets, classify and cluster data that have similar characteristics, applying multidimensional data aggregation on critical data elements to perform profile and trend analysis. Provide technical leadership in the areas of metrics, logging, tracing, profiling, alerting and visualization, and deep dives into code and system design to help diagnose issues. Develop quality and resiliency in high availability, fast paced, and growing environments, support solid DevOps foundation across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from story creation to continuous delivery. Build automated scanning utilities and implement within cloud platforms to identify cloud violations and provide auto heal/fix. Develop dashboards within cloud platforms to provide real time analysis on data usage within cloud platforms.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay range: $126,684 to $150,600 per year.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 8 years of related work experience, of which 5 years are progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of related work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in:

· Cloud DevOps Engineering;

· Data Quality practice and Analytic Tools;

· Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services;

· Airflow;

· JupyterHub;

· Terraform;

· Kubernetes;

· Jenkins; and

· Python.

Must have at least 2 years experience in:

· Alteryx;

· JIRA; and

· Agile Practices.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
