JPMorgan Chase Commercial Card Product Manager- Payments- Vice President in Chicago, Illinois

As a Product Manager in Commercial Card, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new internal product offerings that support the end-to-end client life cycle , from prospecting through onboarding, servicing and operations . In this role, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customers and developing solutions which deliver enhanced controls, efficiencies, revenue, and customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product solution off the ground, you guide the launch of products that support internal operations , gather crucial feedback, and improve client experiences. With a good commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.

  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.

  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.

  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.

  • Communicates, collaborates, and coordinates across product and technology to review the needs of our customers are clearly understood and we expeditiously deliver solutions that meet or exceed their needs and expectations.

  • Remains flexible in a changing environment due to high demands from products across the firm all working to solution their highest priority change

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, program management or relevant experience.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.

  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.

  • Demonstrate ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.

  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively track and manage work in a fast-paced and complex environment.

  • Understand the process and new ideas of Agile software delivery (including management of an agile team).

  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, present findings, and document requirements.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization .

  • Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to market is a plus; experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) JIRA, Confluence Tools.

  • Demonstrated experience working with credit card transaction processing system .

  • Strong understanding of Credit Card operations and s ervicing processes .

  • Experience with data storage, analysis, and APIs a plus .
