Clinical Support Team Leader, Speech Language Pathology

THE POSITION 

Working with AnthroMed Education is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding. We are searching for an experienced SLP that is outgoing, motivated, naturally curious, highly organized, career-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in AnthroMed Education’s Speech-Language Pathologists employment experience. The Clinical Support Team Leader will report to AnthroMed’s Clinical Support Director, and support our team of SLPs in a fast-paced environment and focus on the following areas of support: 

Caseload Support 

  • Be omnipresent in the ongoing caseload challenges occurring with our staff of SLPs in schools. 

  • Participate in 1:1 support session with an assigned team of SLP’s in the schools.

  • Support AnthroMed’s school staff on a daily basis through regular training, problem solving, school visits, and IEP and goal writing, etc.   

Community Building 

  • Assist the Clinical Support Director in bi-monthly team meetings with SLP staff. Bring new ideas and topics, as well as actively participate as a subject matter expert.  

  • Help foster an environment of support for SLPs and build relationships in the local communities.

  • Meet with and build formal relationships with ISHA, MSHA, and ASHA alongside our Clinical Support Director. 

  • Attend various trade shows and industry conferences as necessary.

  • Participate and share SLP support information during interviews with SLPs, including Clinical Fellows, throughout the year. 

Content 

  • Create informative content for AnthroMed staff and social media accounts.

  • Share and distribute therapy materials and internal training materials to SLPs in the field that will be used for the development of AnthroMed SLPs for years to come. 

  • Assist in collecting materials to add to the internal AnthroMed Education SLP Portal and Database. 

Continuing Education 

  • Assist the Clinical Support Director bring in outside speakers for continuing education opportunities.  

  • Identify and explore new training sources to share with our SLPs. 

  • Assist the Clinical Support Director in applying for ASHA CEU Accreditation. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum 6-8 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience required.

  • School-Based experience required.   

  • Illinois SLP license with IDFPR, ISBE PEL license, and active CCC-SLP with ASHA required.

  • Resourceful, self-motivated, creative, and strong ability to positively influence others are qualities we value and are strongly preferred.
