Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in CHICAGO, Illinois. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining financial records, handling account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This is a contract employment opportunity, offering long-term stability in a thriving industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliations effectively to ensure accurate financial records.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, maintaining clear and accurate records.

• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks, demonstrating efficiency and precision.

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.

• Handle month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements • Prior bookkeeping experience of 3 years or more

• Proficient in account reconciliation

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Expertise in performing bank reconciliations

• Extensive knowledge in bookkeeping practices

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle month-end close tasks

• Experience with QuickBooks software is mandatory
