Job Summary

As a key member of the MBA Admissions team, the Assistant Director will be responsible for event management, recruiting, evaluating, and yielding highly selective candidates for the working professionals MBA Programs. This position reports to the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions for the working professionals MBA Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective students via phone, zoom, email, walk-ins, and in-person meetings throughout the application process for working professionals MBA Programs. Manages the Admission inboxes and phone lines. Tracks interactions in Slate and continually improves processes associated with these activities to enhance prospective student satisfaction.
  • Recruits qualified prospective students into the working professionals MBA Programs applicant pool by presenting/staffing at Booth-hosted events including, but not limited to, information sessions, lunch and learns, networking events, dinners/receptions across North America, and virtual events. Represents Booth at MBA Fairs and Forums and continues engagement with prospective students from these events.
  • Assists with event prep for working professionals MBA Programs for events such as information sessions, lunch and learns, corporate visits, interview days, Open Houses, dinners/receptions across North America and virtual events/panels.
  • Evaluates applications for admission to the working professionals MBA Programs and participates as a member of the admissions review committee.
  • Executes recruiting and yield events and activities for the working professionals MBA Programs. Contributes to new ideas, best practices, and efforts to attract and yield top candidates to the working professionals MBA Programs.
  • Oversees interview coordination for all candidates to the working professionals MBA Programs, including on-campus and virtual interviews. Manages interview portal, conducts follow-ups with and assists stude t/alumni interviewers from the working professionals MBA Programs.
  • Recruits and/or evaluates applicants for admission by interviewing, reading applications and summarizing evaluations. Completes these tasks independently or with some guidance and instruction from others.
  • Maintains relationships with all individuals involved in the recruitment process, including routinely counseling students and parents regarding the admission process.
  • Performs other related work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum two years of professional related experience in admissions, higher education, or sales.

Technical Skills or Knowledge:
