Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments. This includes a variety of tasks such as:

• Processing invoices: Ensuring that all invoices from vendors and suppliers are accurately recorded and paid on time.

• Reconciliation: Matching invoices with purchase orders and receipts to verify the accuracy of transactions.

• Maintaining records: Keeping detailed records of all transactions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Vendor management: Communicating with vendors to resolve any billing issues and to negotiate payment terms.

• Expense tracking: Monitoring company expenditures and ensuring they are within budget.

• Payment processing: Handling the actual disbursement of funds, whether through checks, electronic transfers, or other methods.

• Reporting: Preparing financial reports and summaries for management to review.

These tasks help ensure that the client maintains good relationships with its suppliers, avoids late fees, and keeps its financial records in order.

Skills and Requirements

4-5 years experience in Accounts Payable processing

ERP experience related to AP NetSuite Experience null
