Duties and Responsibilities
Perform and oversee basic administrative duties within the CVRI institute functioning independently in planning and coordinating multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Coordinate CVRI seminar speakers including advertising announcements, itineraries and travel
Assist with design and maintenance of CVRI website
Serve as liaison with all faculty and staff in all School of Medicine departments and institutes
Provide administrative support for the CVRI Co-Directors including answering and screening telephone calls and visitors, taking messages and making referrals
Maintain Co-Directors’ calendars, schedule meetings and make room reservations
Coordinate retreats and other events
Attend meetings as requested
Handle special projects as requested
Perform related duties as assigned
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three year of experience in an administrative position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Knowledge in fundraising and/or higher education is considered beneficial.
