Facebook Account/Partner Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Summary:

The Account and Partner Management team is a sales team that is part of Facebook’s Global Business Group. This team is focused on helping small and medium sized businesses grow by optimizing their advertising across Facebook’s family of apps and services. Account and Partner Managers are directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on Facebook through consultation, education, sales, and support. Ideal candidates will have the ability to drive marketing strategy coupled with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute the tactics. Success in this position requires exceptional consultative sales, coaching, and client service skills; a willingness to experiment; the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment; and a passion for helping others achieve results.

Required Skills:

  1. Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of client goals

  2. Become an expert in Facebook’s solutions for businesses of all sizes and adapt recommendations quickly to suit varying client needs

  3. Provide dedicated account management to strategic advertising clients and agencies

  4. Develop and implement programs to improve the client/agency experience

  5. Consult and coach clients & agencies to achieve greater results on Facebook

  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner

  7. Identify opportunities to improve ad products and the customer experience

  8. Work cross-functionally within sales and other Facebook organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction

  9. Work on initiatives with limited and defined scope and execute independently

  10. Build proficiency and working knowledge of Facebook measurement solutions. Understand the value of our Facebook Identity

  11. Interact with pod, team, and clients in operational and executional manner to get tasks done

  12. Have a fundamental understanding of vertical(s)/market(s) industry and clients business model

  13. Build and continue to refine your point of view on FB products through regular self education and discovery

  14. Share knowledge with other team members

  15. Exhibit curiosity - actively self teaches and seeks input from others

  16. Prioritize book of business based on understanding of client needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience with digital media

  2. BA/BS degree or Facebook Social Media Marketing Professional Certification

  3. Experience working and collaborating within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience cultivating sales skills and client relationships

  2. Entrepreneurial and experience dealing with ambiguity

  3. Experience prioritizing and managing tasks within a fast paced environment

  4. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
