Job Description
We are on the hunt for an exceptional Software Development Manager to join our dynamic tech team. Qualifications:
7+ years of software development experience is essential. This role demands a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to write high-quality code.
2+ years of managing software development teams. You will be expected to lead, mentor, and motivate a talented group of Python developers, ensuring productivity and fostering a positive work environment.
Python expertise is non-negotiable. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Python's capabilities, including web frameworks, libraries, and best practices.
Preferred qualifications include:
Industry experience in payment gateways, digital wallets, or construction management software development.
Exposure to AI/ML techniques and their implementation in software solutions.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker).
Responsibilities:
Lead the Python development team, providing technical direction and ensuring project deliverables are met.
Manage and prioritize development tasks, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely project completion.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and growth opportunities.
Stay updated on Python advancements and industry trends, driving innovation within the team.
Ensure code quality and best practices through code reviews and architectural discussions.

Responsibilities
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $108,700 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
