Department Description:

Oracle’s Cloud AI, Data and Dev Platform team is building new solutions that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best-in-class offerings.

As a Program Manager, you will instantly be able to have significant business impact. This will include helping management analyze data and business performance to provide them with insights to develop strategies to run the business smoothly. You will have a chance to work with some of the best minds in the industry to build a business that enables our service teams to build the best-in-class service for our cloud customers. You will plan and direct schedules, monitor projects from initiation through delivery, and organize cross-team activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will analyze key data to explain historical, current and future business performance, define business opportunities and explain the outcome and recommendations to business stakeholder. Engage and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business reporting objectives and requirements.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and drive overall organization, tracking, and management of core programs and projects on schedule

  • Ensure all projects are following their budgets and delivery times.

  • Support high performing teams enabling program planning, project execution and delivery.

  • Escalate issues and develop mitigations plans

  • Build strong and successful relationships with core stakeholders

  • Share status that is relevant, transparent and adds value

  • Own resolution of critical problems end-to-end by coordinating technical resources, identifying resolution paths, and ensuring relevant and clear status communication.

  • Think broadly and strategically when solving problems

  • Proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and blockers

Who you are:

  • Self-starter and comfortable operating at a fast pace with minimal direction

  • A natural collaborator with a proven ability to work across teams to get things done

  • You are curious and ask questions. You know how to “get it done” and drive results

  • Ability to own and manage multiple programs simultaneously. Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • 4+ years’ experience facilitating the development and implementation of engineering projects

  • Finance background that enables you to crunch numbers, find patterns to answer the not so obvious questions about how an engineering initiative or business is functioning

  • Technology background that enables you to understand the complexities of the business architecture of the backend systems is a plus.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex programs and projects while dealing with ambiguity.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
