JOB TITLE: Gymnastics Coach CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt - Part Time DEPARTMENT: CRE/Recreation SUPERVISOR: Recreation Specialist - Gymnastics
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will assist children in the Citys Gymnastics Program, ages 2-18. The position will lead classes, create routines, and perform a variety of duties, unique to gymnastics. Applicant should be creative, artistic, and energetic, as well as have some background in dance, gymnastics, tumbling, and/or cheerleading.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program coordination
- Teaching of a variety of gymnastics moves
- Routine creation
- Class leading
- Excellent customer service
- Lesson planning
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

- Gymnastics movements and terminology
- Coaching practices
- Child development
