Compensation
The salary for this role is $xxx - $xxx. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. About the Role:
LS Power is seeking a senior project controls specialist to be responsible for maintaining the budget and schedule for large (hundreds of millions of dollars), complex, multi-year energy infrastructure projects. This role will be integrated with the project execution team with responsibilities throughout project development and construction phases including forecasting, re-forecasting, and monitoring of budgets and schedules; detailed analysis of variances to budget and month over month expenditures; tracking accruals; and documenting cost exceedances related to specific tasks/work orders.
Qualifications

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
Have 5 to 10 years of project controls experience on large, complex projects
Can effectively managed multiple assignments under time constraints
Can collaborate effectively with a diverse team and are a solutions focused team player
Have excellent time management and organizational skills
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
Can independently worked with direction on a regular basis
