Job Description

· Configure and determine number of containers needed to support export order bookings, to meet specific customer requirements and maximize cost savings.

· Determine FG stock availability, manage stock between sales orders, and work with charting and master scheduler to fulfill export requirements.

· Process export orders and miscellaneous shipments in SAP.

· Contact external container lines, freight forwarders, and trucking companies to ensure equipment is scheduled and available.

· Assure OTIF performance by notifying scheduling and CSRs of potential missed shipments.

· Work with third party Inventory Manager to identify/resolve inventory issues impacting shipping.

· Create all associated logistic related documentation and retain according to corporate guidelines.

· Performs other reasonable duties in the area of overall responsibility, as requested by Management.

· Forecasting capabilities

· Ordering raw materials, interacting with suppliers and updating product specifications

Skills and Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED

· SAP knowledge and experience

· Ability to work with common PC software tools such as Microsoft Office applications.

· Must have mathematical aptitude.

· Strong oral and written communications skills null
