Job Title: Project Electrician

Job Description

This position is for a project electrician to help complete necessary projects on time. Candidates will need to pass a hands-on test that includes bending conduit, placing conduit in a mechanical bender, knowing wire colors, and knowing the NEC.

• Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear box

• Wiring 3-way switches

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans

• Installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components

Hard Skills

• Bending conduit

• Placing conduit in a mechanical bender

• Knowing wire colors

• Knowing the NEC

• Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe

• Wiring 3-way switches

Soft Skills

• Directing and training workers

• Inspecting installation sites

• Studying work orders and installation manuals

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ruther Glen, Virginia.

Work Environment

Manufacturing setting. PPE required: hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, and safety glasses. All PPE provided except steel-toed boots. Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:30am – 4pm; Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm. Currently working 4 10-hour shifts and an 8-hour shift, offering lots of room for overtime.
