Actalent Electrical Engineer in Chester, Virginia

Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of control and electrical equipment. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and executing safety, improvement, and obsolescence plans for control and electrical equipment. You will manage and execute electrical and controls projects, provide electrical engineering representation for engineering and capital work, and offer engineering support prior to and during maintenance outages. Additionally, the role involves managing the E/I technician training program, providing input and evaluation of E&I new-hires, and supporting the development of site utilities. You will act as the gatekeeper for the maintenance MOC process as applicable to electrical and control systems. This role requires accountability for understanding OSHA, PSM, and electrical code standards for control/electrical equipment and translating them into site procedures. Demonstrating core values of SHE, quality, people treatment, and ethics is essential.
