The position can be based at either our South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ office.

As the Design Engineer Sports & Recreation, you will be responsible for the design of various sports & recreation projects.

Responsibilities:

• The Design Engineer is a graduate of civil, structural, or environmental engineering

• The facets of design include horizontal and vertical alignment calculations, superelevation design, grading, drainage design consisting of both hydraulic and hydrologic design of pipes and ditches

• Sports &Recreation projects varying from baseball, football, and soccer fields, both natural and artificial turf, parks and playgrounds, tennis & pickle ball courts, swimming pools and outdoor fitness gyms

• Utilize AutoCAD as a tool for design and will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer

• The Design Engineer will assist entry level engineers become proficient in AutoCAD and will work independently on small projects and collaboratively on large projects

• Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

  Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering

• 5 -10 years of experience

• Professional Engineer (P.E)

• ASCE classification is Grade III/IV

• Experience with sports & recreation projects
