Robert Half Administrative Coordinator in Chesapeake, Virginia

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in the retail industry, located in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia, United States. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating maintenance and repair tasks for our stores, handling inquiries and requests, and building strong relationships with vendors. This role is a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and respond to a variety of building emergencies, such as fires, floods, power outages, and weather-related hazards.

• Coordinate the resolution of maintenance and repair issues across various stores.

• Assist department managers with daily facility changes or needs as required.

• Respond to routine inquiries on basic facility needs and manage maintenance requests via phone calls or emails.

• Prioritize and maintain an accurate database of call history information for each store, utilizing internal Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Develop and nurture relationships with vendors to obtain optimal pricing and service for the stores.

• Use your administrative skills to support property management activities and ensure smooth operations.

• Utilize CRM and Microsoft Excel for efficient management of customer records and inquiries.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Prior experience in property management is desirable

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proactive problem-solving abilities

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required

• Prior experience in the retail industry would be advantageous.
