Naval Air Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TECH DATA) in Cherry Point, North Carolina

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS PRODUCT DATA DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will utilize Technical Data. You will maintain DoD NAVAIR standards and local command policies. You will develop, review, and provide supportability inputs to program technical data and mission documentation. You will identify support costs, manpower requirements, readiness drivers of current systems, and readiness and support cost targets for improvement. You will develop Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) documentation for new acquisition and sustainment TM activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensure the safety and readiness of assigned aircraft systems, while reducing total cost of ownership to the Navy. 2) Develop, review, evaluate and/ or provides supportability inputs to program technical and mission documentation including Operational Requirement Documents, Advanced Procurement Plan, Mission Needs statement, Decision Coordinating Paper, and Master Plan. 3) Conducts and/ or evaluates mission area analysis and assessment to develop Integrated Product Support (IPS) concepts and constrains. 4) Prepare/ provide status reports for assigned functions/ tasks as required. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensure the safety and readiness of assigned aircraft systems, while reducing total cost of ownership to the Navy. 2) Develop, review, evaluate and/ or provides supportability inputs to program technical and mission documentation including Operational Requirement Documents, Advanced Procurement Plan, Mission Needs statement, Decision Coordinating Paper, and Master Plan. 3) Conducts and/ or evaluates mission area analysis and assessment to develop Integrated Product Support (IPS) concepts and constrains. 4) Prepare/ provide status reports for assigned functions/ tasks as required. 5) Identifies fleet logistics problems and issues and develop solutions/ resolutions, identifies tasks/ actions required, and monitor/ track implementation. 6) Perform various cost estimating and analysis processes in support of trade-off analysis sensitivity analysis, ARI developments, LRFS development, and LECP/ECP/OSIP development.
