We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our EEDM Project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance productivity , quality and operational efficiency. This role requires solid analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and data analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct and manage outcomes of various studies, including analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
Support short and long-term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models
Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
Collaborate with engineers building software and data engineering solutions on cloud stack tools such as Azure, Databricks, Kafka, Snowflake, and APIs
Manage and track security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications deployed on the cloud base platform
Work closely with developers to validate functionalities developed, document features, and assist end users with onboarding and training
Gather and document requirements in the US healthcare domain/projects with wireframes
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with project goals
Perform data modeling, including ER and dimensional modeling, to create data models and link entities
Utilize knowledge of data warehousing (DWH) and business intelligence (BI) to support project goals
Apply understanding of Mandalorian architecture in project development
Organize Scrum ceremonies and manage product backlog including refinement and prioritization and planning
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field with 10+ years of overall IT experience
Experience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of member-centric data, US healthcare plans, claim forms, and terminologies
Exposure to on-prem to Azure cloud migration projects
Exposure in Snowflake and Databricks
Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and business intelligence
Understanding of Medallion Architecture.
Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within the area of expertise
Proven excellent communication skills to provide explanations and interpretations within the area of expertise
Proven ability to create data models and link entities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL, Python, R, and tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Azure
Experience in managing and tracking security vulnerabilities and working with security scanning tools
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop actionable insights from complex datasets
Proven ability to translate concepts into practice and provide explanations and information to others on routine issues
