Job Summary:

The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for ASEAN countries payroll and it’s linked activities for GE Vernova.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for the smooth closure of monthly / weekly payroll for ASEAN region like input validations, funding notification to treasury, working with payroll vendor on error rectification, timely submission of bank file etc.

  • Track and maintain the country’s monthly statutory / regulatory submissions along with payroll vendor in timely manner to avoid any penalty for the organization.

  • Responsible for closure of assigned audits (both external / internal). Also working with the leadership (Country / Regional) on any observations / red flags raised by the auditor.

  • Working with payroll vendor for yearend activities like yearend tax filing and any other key yearly activities etc.

  • Working with payroll vendor on regulation change implementation, testing and execution and final level checks to ensure timely execution of the change.

  • Working with Larger HR community on any country data requirement liked to submissions that are being defined by Leadership Team

  • Will be responsible for ensuring timely closure of queries/tickets from employees and other stakeholders.

  • Working with internal stakeholders and payroll vendor to implement new policies or any changes to existing processes/policies.

  • Conduct periodic review of process documents and ensure they are up to date with the latest changes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate / Diploma holder in Human Resource or relevant Industry regulations certification.

  • 6+ Years of experience in payroll processing and management for ASEAN countries.
