Energy Optimization BackOffice Engineer, IND

Job Description

What is the job about?

As a part of a global team and specialized group, based in India, as a part of an international team established to elevate our competences on energy optimization as well as handle projects across all global regions, focusing on analyzing energy usage data prepared either from Grundfos colleagues, other external sales channels or from realtime data.

Working closely with global sales and service frontline end user teams to make sure customers can understand and implement energy conservation measures

Main responsibilities:

• The backoffice will be responsible for preparing high standard reports optimized for typical Industrial customers (like F&B, Pharma, Automotive)

• Provide (high-level) technical support and guidance to colleagues (customers), as well as maintaining records and documentation related to energy optimization projects while support and track progress and results.

• Capable to understand, discuss and advise the best optimized solution and complete understanding of the industrial applications

• Technical analysis of energy project requests

• Develop and design the most optimized technical solutions according to our customers metrics, requirements, and needs in high focus on energy savings

• Calculate energy savings, CO2 reduction as well as relevant financial metrics

• Use specific software tools, create and develop specific energy reports including all relevant metrics & detailed solution

• Provide (high-level) technical support to ensure maximum energy business outcomes

• Liaise with different stakeholders ensuring a full aligned coordination between teams and to match requested response times and deadlines

• Coach local Sales teams to raise the bar for energy optimisation business strategies, tools, and processes

• Participating in industry relevant events and training opportunities

Your Background:

• Advanced knowledge on Pumps and Pumping System for Industrial end-users

• Industrial process application knowledge covering major industries.

• Knowledge of Pump Audit Instruments usage

• Knowledge on Energy Optimization toolbox

• An BSc/MSc in engineering or similar with commensurate global/international experience working in matrix organizations is preferred.

• Autonomous self-starter that knows when to ask for support.

• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic & energy efficiency measures and load profiles

• A strong background in energy efficiency, energy optimization, engineering, or a related field within the industrial sector is required for this role.

• Strong presentation skills to global audience.

• Very strong communication skills – written and verbal. Fluent in English (verbal and written)
