What is the Job all about?

Data analyst supporting Grundfos’ Water Access and sustainability goals by ensuring transparent and timely reporting of data, improving data architecture of tools and systems, and delivering commercial analyses that connect our sustainability and commercial ambitions.

Scope covers Grundfos’ impact in delivering clean water access to people in need, as well as sustainability topics including SBTi/climate and circularity.

Will be handling both internal and external data sources; working with existing databases as well as developing agreed improvements of data architecture and reporting tools; and working on initiatives to ensure data and system compliance related to auditor requirements, legislative requirements (e.g. EU CSRD), etc.

Resource will handle data E2E, i.e. from data extraction to presentation/visualization.

Will support planning, target setting, follow-up and administration around water access (for all Grundfos) and sustainability (for WU only) with particular focus on SafeWater business unit.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Sustainability reporting tools, processes, and architecture.
  1. Promote and support initiatives to continuously improve water-access methodology in order to adhere to assurance requirements from external auditors. Includes improving data structures in large databases and building framework to enable Sales to document water access-related sales/projects.

  2. Ensure sustainability reporting compliance to required needs e.g. EU directives and other regulation

  • Performance management. Deliver water-access and sustainability performance figures (financial and social impact) for relevant forums mainly at monthly cadences, incl. for SafeWater leadership, WU LT, and GM

  • Customer data collection and validation. Ensure the collection and customer validation of projects over the year with particular focus on readiness for annual Sustainability Report

  • Various analyses and research tasks on needs-basis. Specific analyses on sales and revenue, price lists, inventory planning etc. related to water access and sustainability.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Finance, Business or similar field

  • 2-3 years of experience within global organizations

  • Skilled and experienced in Excel, SAP S4/HANA and SAP CRM, Power BI, business warehouse.

  • Proficiency in English Language

  • Knowledge of the global water and sustainability agenda is advantageous.

  • Mindset and attitude to cooperate broadly – with many different stakeholders.

  • Experience with collecting and handling large amounts of data.

  • Critical thinking and ability to analyze, interpret and distil large amounts of data as well as tackling new opportunities.

  • Independently driving own projects and collaborative to seek relevant exposure.
