Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer. As an Automation Engineer, you will be working with both business stakeholders and IT to deliver a best-in-class AI and Automation experience. You will be working in a fast-paced international environment on a modern and well-designed AI and Automation product.

Our Automation Center of Excellence's mission is to help and support process experts in our business functions and operations to build end-to-end process automation solutions by means of RPA, AI, and modern development models. In our Automation CoE product offering we leverage emerging technologies such as Azure OpenAI Technical Foundation, RPA, and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with business operations, business analysts, and Product Owner to create and optimize workflow processes. You’ll also lead initiatives related to designing and managing workflow automation projects, testing, and fixing bugs.

DELIVERABLE/CONTRIBUTION:

  • Support the ASSA ABLOY AI Program with needed GenAI Technical Foundations.

  • Translates business processes and logical design into physical program specifications.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation workflows.

  • Contribute to work stream meetings and share best practices on Automation CoE.

  • Act as expert and support process experts in developing automation solutions within their process areas.

    RESPONSIBILITY:

    Primary:

  • Maintaining and Supporting the GenAI technical foundation with needed upgrades

  • Managing subscriptions

  • Handling the generic queries related to GenAI.

  • Involved in deploying GenAI solutions into production environments.

  • Design, develop, and test automation workflows.

  • Deploy Automation components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories, and logging tools.

  • Support the launch and implementation of Intelligent Automation solutions.

  • Engage in educational activities, such as writing articles, delivering talks, or teaching courses, to share their expertise with the broader community Communicate complex findings effectively through visualization tools and reports.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret results and provide actionable insights.

  • work in interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with other Business Analysts, Process Leads, Product Owners, data scientists, software engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders.

  • Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.

    Secondary:

  • Creates AI systems, which involve designing algorithms, and selecting appropriate models.

  • Solves complex problems by leveraging GenAI techniques.

  • Continuous research to stay updated with the latest advancements in AI.

  • Responsibility for ensuring that GenAI systems are developed ethically and responsibly.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a field that provides a strong foundation for the successful performance of the DUTIES in this job description.

  • 3+ Years of experience in the Azure OpenAI with support and maintenance of environments and subscriptions.

  • 3+ years of experience in programming (including scripting /coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development (Python, Java, or .Net).

  • 3+ years of experience working with the development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) such as UiPath, and Power Automate.

  • Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, business and technical requirements, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Energetic and passionate to learn new things.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

    Additional Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the cloud domain.

  • Experience in JIRA, Service-now, and Confluence tools.

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and DevOps.
