Job Description

Job Purpose :

As an Automation Engineer II, you will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze and understand automation requirements then design end-to-end automation solutions using automation software and tools.

Essential Functions:

• Develop, test, and deploy processes using automation software and tools while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions to ensure they meet quality and performance standards; promptly debug and resolve issues as they arise.

• Continuously optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Engage with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the development-to-production deployment cycle.

• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Education :

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses :

One or more RPA technologies (Blue Prism and UiPath) preferred.

Relevant Work Experience:

3-6 years of experience in related field

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in architecting and implementing solutions using automation software and tools.

• Experience creating process design documents and technical design documents preferred.

• Experience with database systems and SQL queries preferred.

• Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, etc., preferred.

• Ability to translate contract language and scope-of-work documents into project schedules preferred.

• Knowledge of API Integrations in automation software and tools preferred.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills,

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Supervisory Responsibility :

This position does not have employee direct reports but does have oversight responsibility for vendors and/or contractors.

Work Environment :

Work is performed in an in-office environment.
