Molex Inc Inspection and Production Technician in Cheektowaga, New York

Description Sensorcon (a Molex company) is looking for an Inspection and Production Technician that will perform incoming inspection, rework, RMA analysis, calibrations, programming, and production support in our manufacturing facility. This person will also be responsible for routine inspection, test, and support for production. What You Will Do In Your Role Perform incoming inspection, rework, RMA analysis, calibrations, programming, and production support Review and complete documentation relevant to inspection and production procedures Operation of gas tanks, regulators, piping and tubing for calibration equipment Mechanical assembly of sensors and electronic parts relating to gas detection Use measuring tools such as calipers, thread gauges, digital multimeters, test fixtures, programmers, digital interfaces, flow controllers, and other equipment used for inspection, rework, RMA analysis, and production The Experience You Will BringRequirements: BS or Associates in science, engineering, technology, or related fields 3 years of experience with a 2yr tech degree or 4 year degree with demonstrated in class lab experience Ability to understand and learn manufacturing, quality, and engineering processes. Proficiency in excel, iPad / Android apps, understanding of databases What Will Put You Ahead BS in science, engineering, technology, or related fields 3 years working in a laboratory where gasses and gas mixtures are used Experience working with hazardous gasses and chemicals Experience with electronics / soldering, manufacturing Experience with testing procedures, statistics reporting Linux experience Our goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
