Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health and operations of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks with precision and timeliness.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation for four different companies.

• Execute bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for.

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate.

• Utilize Excel for advanced functions like PivotTables, vlookups, and hlookups.

• Assist in Month End Close process to validate and finalize financial data.

• Use Dynamics GP and Great Plains Dynamics for various accounting processes.

• Aid in responding to external audit requests by providing necessary financial records and explanations.

• Handle journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. Requirements

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with a strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Thorough understanding and experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial data.

• Solid knowledge of General Ledger management, with an ability to maintain and update financial records.

• Demonstrated ability in preparing and posting Journal Entries, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions.

• Advanced skills in Excel, capable of managing large datasets and performing complex calculations.

• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial transactions for the month are accurately recorded.

• Proficiency in using Dynamics GP for managing financial data and performing accounting operations.

• Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics, with an ability to leverage the tool for efficient financial management.
