Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Remote Physical Substation Engineer to sit in EST/CST time zones. They will support all design efforts related to physical substation projects. This includes performing grounding calculations, control house layouts, wiring diagrams, general arrangements, equipment plans, elevations, conduit design, etc. They will handle project designs from start to customer submittals. Most projects will be for high-voltage substations - modifications, upgrades, and retrofits, and may consist of new builds as well. They will utilize AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for designs.

Skills and Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in physical substation design/engineering (grounding analysis, control house layouts, wiring diagrams, etc.) - PE or EIT

• Experience designing for HV substations null
