Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Provides leadership, coordination, communication, and operational direction for facility keeping cost, throughput, and resource allocation to meet deliverables required by internal and external customers on track
Analyzes schedule performance and works with office and shop personnel in determining schedules of work required for repair, parts, and new pump orders
Responsible for tendering, purchasing, invoicing, accounts receivable, & expediting at the service center
Central point of contact for customer questions regarding schedules and other inquiries at the service center
Assists management with assessing production loads and evaluations of shop and personneldemands for the proper resource allocation, processes, and additions for business growth
Assists management with inputs for corporate financial reporting
Ensures all department and disciplines are kept abreast of department progress
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
Supports and cooperates in Nuclear QA program, process standardization efforts, and Lean Manufacturing efforts
Recommends capital spending to increase operational efficiency
Performs other duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or operations management or equivalent work-related experience in field is required
Ten (10) years pump or other capital equipment industry work experience required, including an excellent understanding of customer-focused, service-based, manufacturing business
Leadership and supervisory experience managing personnel
Five (5) years nuclear industry experience preferred
Must be able to adapt and lead in a high paced, dynamic, customer oriented, and ever-changing team environment
Strong communication skills, strong organizational ability and detail orientation required. Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and lead in a team environment
Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Possess capabilities to understand, write, and apply procedural-based work processes
Solid computer and data entry skills, with proficiency in latest MS software including MS Project and Access.
Knowledge of SAP is preferred
