Corteva Agriscience Biologicals Master Scheduler / Project Leader - APAC in Chatswood, Australia

The Biologicals business is new to Corteva and will experience rapid growth over the next 5 years. Integration of our demand and supply processes across Symborg, Stoller and Corteva will be critical to enable this growth. As master scheduler, you will work closely with both the Biologicals Supply Leader and IO Leader as well as regional supply teams to enable plans to meet supply and inventory goals. In addition, you will work with the Biologicals Project Manager to lead supply projects within your region to establish the supply network.

Master Scheduler:

  • Take direction from the Biologicals Supply Leader to establish expectations on the new S&OP processes for Biologicals.

  • Develop and maintain the monthly Supply Plans for products within a regional biologicals portfolio over the planning horizon (Months 4-24).

  • Setup production plan that is feasible and attainable for the CY+2 Month Horizon and own documentation for system settings.

  • Translate demand requirements and supply capability into a time-phased supply and inventory plan in monthly resolution over the IBP horizon that satisfies expected demand, is capacity feasible and at the lowest business cost.

  • Manage quarterly ending inventory projections for each asset with the health of inventory detailed.

  • Analyze, monitor, and confirm the implementation of changes per plan for Biologicals S&OP Process. Identifies potential issues and risks. Escalates issues to global Supply Leader/Master Planner/Supply Chain Manager as necessary.

  • Facilitate communication and interaction with Regional Supply Chain Leader as well as Commercial, Manufacturing and Sourcing functions to effectively balance supply and demand in the mid-term horizon - to be determined as output from Biologicals S&OP.

  • Communication to Export Partners and Demand Managers with issues to meet expected demand timing for longer term, 4 - CY+2, inform Regional Supply Chain Leader and Regional Hub Operations Leader on gap(s).

  • Maintain RCCP for assets and participate in Long Term Capacity Planning Yearly in collaboration with Detailed Production Scheduler

  • Conduct a 12-Month analysis of upside feasibility.

Project Leader:

  • Take direction from Global Supply Project leader to functionally identify new launches and supply chain improvement opportunities.

  • Establish project expectations with key stakeholders and manage expectations with effective communication throughout the project, including expected project timeline, associated costs, and status.

  • Define, execute, and maintain the project plan, timeline, stakeholder communication plan, and control plan for all assigned projects.

  • Represent Supply on the Innovation Management Network Team as needed, either as Extension & Improve Supply Program Leader (eSPL) or as Regional Product Launch Leader (RPLL).

  • Represent Supply on Local Product Concept Teams.

  • Represent new launch projects within the formulation and packaging.

Location: China or Australia preferred, will consider other locations within APAC.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 Years work experience and demonstrated capability in planning, leading by influence and organizational skills

  • Minimum Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business

  • Operations, scheduling, and planning experiences are preferred

  • Tool knowledge preferred: SAP / APO / BW / IBP / S&OP

  • Excel (Advanced), Power BI and data management tools

  • Financial Acumen for assets and products

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Fundamentals - APICS CSCP knowledge or equivalent work experience/education

  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing tools and processes for data analysis.

Training / Certifications (Highly Recommended):

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification required, Six Sigma Black Belt and/or certified Lean Practitioner preferred

  • APICS Certification: Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
