Ball-Chatham is seeking a motivated, talented, and passionate individual to join our existing Titan Talent
as a Special Education Teacher at Glenwood Middle School for the 2024-2025 School Year.

WHAT DO SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS DO?
Plans, develops, and implements District-approved educational curriculum in one or more academic subjects appropriate for students with special needs.
Revises plans on an ongoing basis, considering student needs, ability levels, and interests
Develops and maintains a plan to assess whether presented material is understood using a variety of assessment techniques; uses the results to modify future instruction
Monitors student progress throughout the year and evaluates progress towards IEP goals.
Communicates all progress and concerns with tact and professionalism to parents and, as appropriate other faculty, staff, and/or principal.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Education
Previous teaching experience with middle-school aged students.
