OneSavings Bank PLC Infrastructure Manager (Server and Cloud) in Chatham, United Kingdom
We are looking for an Infrastructure Manager (Server and Cloud) to join the team and you will report into the Head of Infrastructure Operations.
This position can be based in Kent or Wolverhampton.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver new enabling capabilities, developing and delivering templated systems, resolving infrastructure support issues and maintaining, managing and optimising overall performance and availability of the infrastructure and team.
Your responsibilities will include…
Line management of 3 direct reports located in the UK as well as India
Providing solutions to continually implement and refine infrastructure
Identifying and implement automation/processes to drive efficiencies within the Cloud Operations team
Providing tier 4 support and acting as escalation for team support activities as well as creating technical documentation to transfer knowledge to IT level’s 1, 2 and 3
Working closely with the architect team and other infrastructure teams for pipeline activities
Being responsible for technical escalation across cloud technologies, including platform management and automation of infrastructure services
Supporting major incident reviews and taking ownership of problem management to drive continual service improvement
Please be aware that this role is part of a 24/7 on-call rota and there would be the need to attend disaster recovery and business continuity planning out of hours for which there would be remuneration provided
This is a Fixed Term Contract position for a period of 12 months

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
Previous work experience in an Infrastructure Management role
Experience of Windows Server 2003-2019 and knowledge of Windows Server technologies (IIS, DHCP, DNS, PKI)
Experience line managing a team comprising of performance management, development, conduct, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment
Strong knowledge of Azure and VMware virtualisation and ability to implement and maintain automation
Qualifications in MCSA, MCITP, MCSE or MCP
