HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 3rd shift, 10 pm to 6 am, Sunday-Thursday. Summary: As a Quality Inspector you are an essential part of helping Entegris be part of the Future of Innovation! The Quality Inspector you will be responsible for: performing a wide variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products. You will need to be familiar with running tests and comparing the results to a known standard to ensure strict customer requirements. In this role you will: Primary Responsibilities and Duties: * Approve incoming materials, in process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting unacceptable materials; creating quality notification for non-conformances. * Communicate discrepancies to production supervisor and help determine next steps. * Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database. * Conducting process audits. * Performing Capability studies. * Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs as needed. * Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. * Understands and applies statistical process control techniques, including basic chart interpretation and capability analysis Traits we believe make a strong candidate: * Previous quality/inspector roles in a manufacturing environment preferred * Experience navigating SAP and Quality systems preferred * Good oral and written communication skills, proficient with excel, technical training in blueprint reading, good values, willingness to learn, thorough, detailed orientated, open to feedback. * Skilled using a variety of measurement equipment including calipers, pin gage set, height gage, test indicator, micrometer, pitch micrometer, dial indicator, surface plate, optical comparator, smart scope, and coordinate measuring machine (CMM) What We Offer: At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunities to our employees and promote them from within.
