Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) Patient Services Representative - Twin Cities Orthopedics in Chaska, Minnesota

Description The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties. Part-time role, M-F between 6:30a & 6:30p, 8-hour shifts between our 2 Eden Prairie clinics and Chaska. Candidate must be flexible to work at different locations where coverage is needed. Shifts will be decided by supervisor on clinic needs. Hours can/will vary pending on coverage needed in West Metro offices. A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for sign-on bonus. Essential Functions: Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments Chart preparation and management Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff Assist in various areas of the clinic as needed Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma/GED or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Customer Service experience required Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
