Actalent Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Chaska, Minnesota

Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to work within a production facility that operates automatic fill lines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and improve equipment within the facility. This role involves addressing various types of improvements and issues, including mechanical, electrical, automation, and general process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.

  • Work on process improvements within the production facility.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production teams.

  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing equipment performance.

  • Support the production team as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting.

  • Mechanical or Electrical Associates degree with 2+ years of experience.

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a controlled environment or within the medical device industry is preferred but not required.

  • Willingness to work full-time while attending school for a bachelor's degree is considered.

  • Open to candidates from any manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This role operates on the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm. The technician will work on reagent fill lines within the production and manufacturing section. The role requires teamwork and a willingness to assist wherever needed, working closely with the engineering and production teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.48 - $32.48
