Job Title: 2nd Shift Boxing Production Technician

Job Description

Level 1: Boxer - Candidates will bag the finished product and weigh it to ensure it is the correct weight. Once this is completed, they will tape the box shut and lift the box onto the pallet (50 lbs).

Back End Processes: - Ability to appropriately utilize scale - Provide power to scale - Calibrate scale using proper weights and techniques - 'Tare' scale to ensure accurate measurements - Ability to stack boxes in an orderly fashion for palletizing - Read & Understand Product Codes and Lot Numbers - Find proper screens for Swecos & Comils - Operate all equipment belts, Swecos, Comils & Metal Detectors - Perform CCP check, per SOP - Document, and remedy, non-compliance issues on paperwork - Correctly and accurately perform quality checks to ensure product matches sight standard - Maintain food safety culture in regards to food defense, quality, and cGMPs for production and warehousing of products - Trained and Certified in Stand-up Forklift Operation

Safety & Sanitation: - Understand and master all sanitization processes - Clean, break down, and reassemble equipment - Consistently follow all sanitization processes to ensure food safety - Understand and consistently practice food safety, sanitization, and work safety policies & procedures - Maintain GMP 'general housekeeping' practices to ensure a workspace that is clean and safe

Hard Skills

• 6 months of relevant manufacturing/production experience

• Experience in food production is a plus

• Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the day

• Ability to appropriately utilize scale

• Calibrate scale using proper weights and techniques

• Operate all equipment belts, Swecos, Comils & Metal Detectors

• Perform CCP check, per SOP

• Trained and Certified in Stand-up Forklift Operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to follow procedures and protocols

• Strong documentation skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chaska, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Clean, and spacious facility. Exposure to noise, heat, changes in temperature and humidity, and airborne dust particles.
