Insight Global TS/SCI PC Support Manager in Charlottesville, Virginia

Job Description

-Responsible for overall personal computer activity.

-Establishes and implements PC policies, procedures and standards, and ensures their conformance with information systems goals and procedures.

-Studies and projects PC resource requirements including personnel, software, equipment and facilities, and makes recommendations to management.

-Maintains currency in new developments and technology.

-Provides for the training of department staff and end users.

-Directs setup and maintenance of library and materials for end user reference and reviews department staff.

-Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.

-Provides leadership in the effective use of internal data processing, automated office systems and data communications. May also manage LAN services.

-Position may require lifting objects up (IT hardware, installation, pulling cables)

Schedule:

-Fully on-site Monday through Friday (some potential travel required.)

-->Core hours 6am-6pm (40 hours on site during core hours)

-->Possible evening maintenance required (1x per week on avg. with flexible scheduling)

Hardware Team: 7 man shop with 1 government employee responsible for running shop hardware, maintenance, installations for entire center (desktops, computers, laptops, monitors, printers, etc.)

Hourly Pay Rate (Depending on Exp. Level): $21.10/hr-$32.93/hr

Skills and Requirements

-TS/SCI clearance (willing / able to obtain CI poly)

-Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience

-Security + certification -Computing Environment Cloud Practitioner Certification (Can take course following start; 3 day course)

-Previous experience at NGIC

-Strong leadership skills / experience

-Experience effectively interacting with government customer on a daily basis null
