University of Virginia Transplant Surgeon, Kidney or Multi-Organ in Charlottesville, Virginia

The University of Virginia Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant Surgery seeks candidates for an open rank, open track, transplant surgeon. Formal training and experience in living and deceased kidney and/or multi-organ, abdominal transplant surgery is desired. The incumbent will participate in and help to develop our growing transplant programs, provide clinical and surgical care relevant to these transplant populations, actively participate in the teaching program with students, residents and fellows, as well as develop innovation and research.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, relevant transplant surgery fellowship training and experience, and preferred certification from the American Board of Surgery. Rank and tenure status will be determined based upon qualifications.
