You’ll be working in a building called the Mad House…it does get crazy mad sometimes, so you’ll need to buckle up for the ride!

Summary/Objective

The Leasing Specialist (Part Time) reports to the Leasing Manger and will perform the duties described below in a competent, professional, and timely manner in accordance with Federal Fair Housing Laws.

Essential Functions

General Duties

To promptly answer phones.

Schedule tours and show apartments.

Follow-up with all prospects following and approved procedure.

To personally greet customers as they enter the office.

Generate computer leases and complete all lease procedures.

To consistently acquire a 33% show to lease ratio.

To consistently acquire a 62% telephone performance.

To consistently acquire a 50% phone to tour conversion.

Contribute marketing ideas and strategies to renting apartments including the production of ads and fliers.

Check and respond to office email.

Notify current residents of an upcoming tour.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position (15-20) hours per week; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, with hours between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday hours 10:00am to 4:00pm, Sundays 11:00am to 2:00pm. Must be available to work every weekend. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.

Travel/ Driving

No travel is expected for this position. Occasional need to utilize personal transportation to make (reimbursed) trips to bank, post office and also to visit corporate offices.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in leasing/sales/customer service a plus

Driver’s License required

Preferred Education and Experience

College degree preferred but not required
