Provides clinical pharmaceutical expertise for the Neurosciences service line. Leads the Neurology Pharmacist team in clinical competency covering Neuro ICU, Stroke, General Neurology and Neurosurgery. The primary area of clinical care for the position covers the Neuro ICU.

• Provides clinical pharmaceutical care to patients.

• Oversees daily pharmacy operations and enhances the quality and delivery of care.

• Serves as the team leader to provide leadership in the delivery of pharmacy services.

• Supports the oversight issues related to pharmacy services.

• Engages in professional self-development.

• Supports educational mission through training of pharmacy residents, students, and pharmacy technician trainees and continuous professional growth

• Enhances the quality of delivery of care.

• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $55.67 - $89.07 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: PGY1-required or 3 years of equivalent hospital experience

Licensure: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. BLS required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing and traveling for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals
