Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders and fabricators to join our team. The role involves welding on pressure vessels using Mig, Tig, and Fluxcore techniques. Candidates must be familiar with ASME code, weld symbols, and blueprints. The work will require attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Work Environment

This is a metal fabrication environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates must be comfortable working in these elements and may be required to crawl into pipes when welding. The typical work schedule is 50 hours per week, with peak seasons in July and December. Initial training will be on the day shift (6-8 weeks) before transitioning to the night shift, which includes a premium pay of +2/hr. Night shift hours are 5:30pm-6am, four 12-hour shifts, and a 7-hour shift on Friday, with optional 12-hour shifts on Fridays based on workload. Must be open to working on Saturdays occasionally. The company values flexibility for family schedules.
